Clients are responsible for arranging professional inspections or repairs when needed.

Storm Preparation Services
Storm-related services, including hurricane shutter installation and general storm preparation, are provided to help reduce potential risk. However:
 
• Storm preparation does not guarantee prevention of damage.
• Severe weather conditions may prevent service access before or after a storm.
• Safety considerations may require postponement or cancellation of services.

Vendor Coordination
If requested, Home Watchers may assist in coordinating third-party vendors for repairs or maintenance. Home Watchers is not responsible for:
 
• Vendor availability
• Vendor pricing
• Vendor workmanship
• Delays caused by third-party contractors

All vendor services are contracted directly between the client and the vendor.

Payments
Service fees are determined based on the service plan selected and property details. Payments may be required:
 
• At the time of service
• On a recurring monthly basis
• In advance for seasonal service plans

Failure to provide payment may result in suspension of services until payment issues are resolved.

Hurricane Season Scheduling
During hurricane season (June 1 through November 30), demand for services increases significantly. Priority scheduling is typically given to clients enrolled in recurring service plans. Storm preparation services are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed prior to severe weather events.

Limitation of Liability
Home Watchers strives to provide reliable and attentive service; however, we are not responsible for events beyond our control including:
 
• Hurricanes or severe weather
• Flooding
• Fire
• Theft or vandalism
• Hidden or pre-existing property conditions
• Utility outages
• Delays caused by road closures or safety concerns

To the extent permitted by law, any liability related to services provided will not exceed the amount paid for services during the applicable service period.

Force Majeure
Home Watchers is not liable for delays or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
 
• Natural disasters
• Government orders or evacuations
• Utility outages
• Fuel shortages
• Public health emergencies
• Other unforeseen events

Services will resume when it is safe and reasonably possible to do so.

Home Watchers reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with the revised effective date. Continued use of the website or services indicates acceptance of any updated terms.
